Cocolicious This gorgeous little girl is finally seeing the world after two years of living inside, exclusively. She’s afraid of grass and everything in the great outdoors but we’re slowly expanding her world. She reminds us of the poor beagles who live in labs and have never experienced fresh air and the natural world. She’s also afraid of the other dogs but lives peacefully in her foster home with 8 dogs. She’s not used to being picked up but she loves attention and loves people. We promised to find her a gentle home where she can learn at her own pace. It’s a scary world after all, especially when you’re barely 5 pounds. She has lived her entire life inside but she’s still only 2 years old so we know she can still have a rich life of adventure. If you would like to adopt Cocolicious, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Star This sweetheart came to us with her brother, scared and under-socialized. We don’t know anything about their parents or past, but we know their futures are bright. Star is still nervous about being picked up quickly, but she loves to be held and snuggled, once you slowly and gently lift her. Star loves to play with toys and other dogs and she’s very comfortable in the presence of humans. We think she’ll be around 12 pounds full grown but this is just a guess. Star would benefit from one-on-one attention in her very own loving home. If you have a way with shy dogs and you’d love to make a super special lasting bond with a very gentle soul, Star is your girl. If you would like to adopt Star, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Ruth [Note: The first pictures of Ruth are the most recent ones (5/12/26). As you can see, these puppies are growing up, and we are happy to report that their skin and fur are looking great!] If Ruth and her littermates get their mama‘s personality, the world is in for a lot more love. Their mom, Greta, is the sweetest dog we’ve ever met and we’ve met a lot! Ruth is just 8 pounds and her siblings are also on the tiny side. We know nothing about their father, but they have the best dog mom in the world. At the time of this post the puppies are 8.5 weeks old (birthdate of 1/23/26)and are still nursing. Ruth takes after her mom for sure, she’s sweet and gentle. Ruth and her siblings will all be spayed and fully vaccinated prior to finalizing any adoption. If you would like to adopt Ruth, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Parker - Available! We are so in love with this little 4 year old bundle of joy. Parker loves all humans and most dogs. He’s alpha so he does not like other alpha males. He’s only 8 pounds but he will do best with female dogs or older submissive males. Parker loves toys and the company of humans but he does not have separation anxiety. He seldom barks and loves to play fetch. He does tend to guard his toys and food but he corrects quickly and always aims to please. Parker is soft like a bunny and sweet like a muffin. He’s leash trained and housebroken. He did mark all over the shelter when he first arrived but this seems to have subsided drastically since his neuter. To meet Parker is to love him. If you would like to adopt Parker, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Bartholomew Our amazing Bartholomew came to us while he was at death’s door. He was painfully thin with severe dental disease. We could not touch his head, not even his ears, he was in so much pain. We’re not sure how old he is but we’d guess between 10-12 years (and about the same number of pounds). We neutered him and fixed his mouth. The infection was terrible but he recovered quickly and started to eat almost immediately! Now he’s a legit ranch dog! He comes out to feed the goats, horses and pig every morning and night, he plays, and then runs back to the house. Truth be told, he’s a bit arthritic and stiff so “play” and “run” are relative in this regard but he does the cutest gallop and sometimes his back end goes faster than his front end but he always manages to stay upright and he always knows where his foster mama is. Bartholomew loves to sleep in bed with his human and the other dogs, but he’s also content to sleep in a cozy bed on the floor. He can’t get up and down from the bed on his own so he will need his own “staff” for lifting, etc. Bartholomew’s transformation in our care has been nothing shy of spectacular. He is pure love inside and out. His coat went from sad and dull to shiny and vibrant. His personality has always been charming. If you’re looking for an older gentleman to brighten your days Bartholomew is your man. If you would like to adopt Bartholomew, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .
