Hazel - Available! Our sweet Hazel is back with us. Hazel originally came to us by way of the Rohnert Park shelter, where she wasn’t thriving. They did so much for her - including sending her to us - and she did gtreat in foster care. She was heavily matted so they shaved her hair off and we’re all very excited to see what she looks like when she’s fluffy! At the moment, she resembles a statuesque mini greyhound or a whippet. We estimate her to be about 3 years old and 8 pounds. She’s getting well house-trained and is in love with her foster mom. Hazel bonds quickly, despite her shy disposition. She was shutdown in the shelter but is now really coming out of her shell. She sticks by her foster mom when they visit and she’s an absolute angel. We've learned a little more about Hazel; for example, she's not fond of kids or crates. But she’s a very sweet, easy dog to have around, and will definitely be the love of someone’s life. That’s our goal for this very special little dog. She gets along well with other dogs but prefers the company of adult humans.

Hope This sweet puppy came to us with her (almost) identical sister, from a dangerous situation. Both are 4-months and 6 pounds. Hope is the bigger of the two and she's also the most outgoing. She's the leader for sure and she's sweet as they come. We aren't sure of the girls' exact lineage, but it seems like it's mostly Chihuahua, with maybe some Chiweenie in there. We don't expect them to be more than 12 pounds when full-grown. If you would like to adopt Hope, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Sage This delicate 4-month old, 6 pound puppy has a heart of gold. Sage is a soulful little angel who survived serious neglect with her sibling Hope but you would never know it. They are sweet and loving and ready to begin their lives. We aren't sure of Sage's' exact lineage, but it seems like it's mostly Chihuahua, with maybe some Chiweenie in there. We don't expect her to be more than 12 pounds when full-grown. Rocket His personality suits his new name. We don’t know his former name, or anything about his former life, but we know Rocket's future is bright. He is the funniest little guy. If he really is 10 years old, it’s hard to tell. He has energy for days but is also happy to lie on the couch. He loves to sleep with his humans and seems to be house trained. Rocket did some marking when he first arrived (like most intact males) but it has subsided almost completely. Maybe he’s following the lead of his new dog friends, or his neuter has altered his ways. He gets along well with the other dogs and seems to love every human he meets. He howls when his human leaves but it doesn’t last long. Rocket has so much life to live and love to give. At just 6 pounds, he will make a great errand friend and can travel anywhere with his people. If you would like to adopt Rocket, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Star This sweetheart came to us with her brother, scared and under-socialized. We don’t know anything about their parents or past, but we know their futures are bright. Star is still nervous about being picked up quickly, but she loves to be held and snuggled, once you slowly and gently lift her. Star loves to play with toys and other dogs and she’s very comfortable in the presence of humans. We think she’ll be around 12 pounds full grown but this is just a guess. Star would benefit from one-on-one attention in her very own loving home. If you have a way with shy dogs and you’d love to make a super special lasting bond with a very gentle soul, Star is your girl. If you would like to adopt Star, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Parker - Available! We are so in love with this little 4 year old bundle of joy. Parker loves all humans and most dogs. He’s alpha so he does not like other alpha males. He’s only 8 pounds but he will do best with female dogs or older submissive males. Parker loves toys and the company of humans but he does not have separation anxiety. He seldom barks and loves to play fetch. He does tend to guard his toys and food but he corrects quickly and always aims to please. Parker is soft like a bunny and sweet like a muffin. He’s leash trained and housebroken. He did mark all over the shelter when he first arrived but this seems to have subsided drastically since his neuter. To meet Parker is to love him. If you would like to adopt Parker, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .
