Sedona We call him Sid, for short. Sedona is the largest of his litter of three. At 6.5 pounds, he is the beast of the litter but he uses his size for love. (mostly) He provides a warm cushy place for his siblings to nap after wrestling sessions. He's trying to learn how to be gentle with the smallest of the three but he's a work in progress. Sedona's wrinkly head makes him super expressive. He's nailed the "sad puppy eyes" look and we all fall for it. He will gaze his way into your heart. We think these pups are around 2 months old and we have no information on their parents but we guess Sid and his siblings will grow to be around 15 pounds. They have the sweetest personalities; they love laps. They also love to wrestle and play with very big ferocious growls. They came from a homeless camp in Chowchilla. We're happy to have the opportunity to give these babies the lives they deserve. If you would like to adopt Sedona, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Sand AKA Baby Hippo, Sand is the smallest of his litter of three. At 4.5 pounds, he holds his own because of his lower center of gravity. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in charm. His stubby little legs, toad-like figure, wrinkly lips and ice blue eyes make him irresistible. Sand will waddle his way into your heart. We think these pups are around 2 months old and we have no information on their parents but we guess Sand and his siblings will grow to be around 15 pounds. They have the sweetest personalities, they love laps. They also love to wrestle and play with very big ferocious growls. Sand and his siblings came from a homeless camp in Chowchilla. Sunny This resilient little one came to us with a hernia the size of a softball, severe dental disease and a urinary tract infection. Not surprisingly, Sunny was also emaciated. We got to work feeding her and clearing up the infections in her mouth and urinary tract to prep her for surgery number one: removal of the hernia. After a smooth recovery, we booked her for the dental surgery. This girl has a 4/6 heart murmur but she handled both surgeries like a champ and is filling out nicely. We think she’s between 8-10 years and she has lots of life to live still! Sunny is the snuggliest sweetheart you’ll ever meet and she wants to be with her people 24/7. She doesn’t have separation anxiety but will follow her people all day long. She’s a bit underfoot so her family will need to be aware and surefooted. Sunny is housebroken but is prone to UTIs so her new home will have to keep an eye on her peeing frequency. We cannot say enough great things about this wonderful, kind, sweet, snuggly, beautiful little trooper. She’s only 9 pounds but she will fill your home with love. If you would like to adopt Sunny, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Bartholomew Our amazing Bartholomew came to us while he was at death’s door. He was painfully thin with severe dental disease. We could not touch his head, not even his ears, he was in so much pain. We’re not sure how old he is but we’d guess between 10-12 years (and about the same number of pounds). We neutered him and fixed his mouth. The infection was terrible but he recovered quickly and started to eat almost immediately! Now he’s a legit ranch dog! He comes out to feed the goats, horses and pig every morning and night, he plays, and then runs back to the house. Truth be told, he’s a bit arthritic and stiff so “play” and “run” are relative in this regard but he does the cutest gallop and sometimes his back end goes faster than his front end but he always manages to stay upright and he always knows where his foster mama is. Bartholomew loves to sleep in bed with his human and the other dogs, but he’s also content to sleep in a cozy bed on the floor. He can’t get up and down from the bed on his own so he will need his own “staff” for lifting, etc. Bartholomew’s transformation in our care has been nothing shy of spectacular. He is pure love inside and out. His coat went from sad and dull to shiny and vibrant. His personality has always been charming. If you’re looking for an older gentleman to brighten your days Bartholomew is your man. If you would like to adopt Bartholomew, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Cola We've named her Cola (short for Charcola), and she is currently the most entertaining dog at LTR. Cola loves to play, and takes her role as adopted mama to 5 younger puppies very seriously. She also helps with the farm chores, which we love. Cola's floppy ears bouncing around in the grass are the cutest things. It’s a miracle she’s here with us. First she was given away on Craig’s List and then kept for 4 months in a safe but isolated place where she didn’t even have a name. Cola is nervous around new people but we’re working on this and she’s improving daily. She loves our volunteers and frequent visitors and we love her back. At approximately 6 months, Cola weighs 9 pounds, so we guess she will be around 14 pounds full-grown. She’s gorgeous, intelligent and tons of fun. If you would like to adopt Cola, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Sea Monkey and Sea Biscuit Calling all dog whisperers! We gave Sea Monkey (the white one) and Sea Biscuit fun whimsical names to symbolize their new path to happiness. These poor little girls were locked outside and never touched for their entire 10/11 years of life. Despite the neglect, they are gentle and sweet but are incredibly shy. We can pet them and hold Sea Biscuit (the black one), but they tremble in fear. They need a quiet warm loving corner to decompress and learn to be loved. They will require patience and understanding. They will run to you when you come home; they love treat time, and while they're potty pad trained, they will potty outside as long as they have a doggy door or human person nearby to let them out. If you're looking for a rewarding challenge, an opportunity to teach love to deserving little souls, these little Sea creatures need you. We rescued them because they don't deserve to die simply due to their fear of the world. They didn't ask to live an isolated life. They deserve a chance, and they happen to be easy keepers. They are nice companions who are not needy. Although we would love to keep them together, we will adopt them out separately if it's their best chance at happiness. If you would like to adopt Sea Monkey and Sea Biscuit, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Pumpkin This senior gent is 4.5 pounds of adorable. Pumpkin is the easiest dog you’ll ever meet. He sleeps most of the time and although he requires eye drops, each day, he is otherwise nothing but a pleasure to have around. He loves snuggles but doesn’t love to be held or carried around. He likes car rides and strollers and he loves to be kissed, scratched and loved. We want the very best forever home for Pumpkin. Coco Nbr2 This royal little girl is elegant, sweet and easy to love. She gets along well with humans and dogs; not sure about cats but she’s eager to please and eager to learn. This tall statuesque 6 pound angel is definitely part Egyptian princess. She could pass for a mini greyhound or a runway model but she only wants love and a forever home, worthy of a princess. Coco Nbr 2 is only 3 years old so you must be ready for a longterm commitment and a forever friend. If you would like to adopt Coco Nbr2, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .
