Success Stories
"Yea! I have a new family!"
These dogs have found their forever home after having been rescued by Little Trooper Ranch.
Sunny - Adopted! Sunny has a home! We could not be happier for this deserving little angel. She has struggled so much in life. This is her time to be loved, cherished and protected. We love you Sunny. You ARE sunshine. *** *** This resilient little one came to us with a hernia the size of a softball, severe dental disease and a urinary tract infection. Not surprisingly, Sunny was also emaciated. We got to work feeding her and clearing up the infections in her mouth and urinary tract to prep her for surgery number one: removal of the hernia. After a smooth recovery, we booked her for the dental surgery. This girl has a 4/6 heart murmur but she handled both surgeries like a champ and is filling out nicely. We think she’s between 8-10 years and she has lots of life to live still! Sunny is the snuggliest sweetheart you’ll ever meet and she wants to be with her people 24/7. She doesn’t have separation anxiety but will follow her people all day long. She’s a bit underfoot so her family will need to be aware and surefooted. Sunny is housebroken but is prone to UTIs so her new home will have to keep an eye on her peeing frequency. We cannot say enough great things about this wonderful, kind, sweet, snuggly, beautiful little trooper. She’s only 9 pounds but she will fill your home with love.

Nani - Adopted! Another foster win!!! We sure do love our Bobbi. Every time we send her to pick up a new Little Trooper, she drives straight home with the trooper! Nani was no exception but these two were meant to be together. They are both so special. We could not be happier for these beautiful beings.

Pumpkin - Adopted! It was worth the wait for our little Pumpkin. He arrived almost a year ago and has been a huge part of the Trooperville family since the moment he landed in our care. He’s had regular visits to the ophthalmologist, an extensive dental procedure, and so, so much love. We provided many soft warm places for this little nugget to build his nests and we were prepared to care for him forever, if the perfect home didn’t come along. Fortunately for Pumpkin, his dream home arrived. He will get so much love and attention. He has his own family. We were so lucky to be part of his journey. * * * This senior gent is 4.5 pounds of adorable. Pumpkin is the easiest dog you’ll ever meet. He sleeps most of the time and although he requires eye drops, each day, he is otherwise nothing but a pleasure to have around. He loves snuggles but doesn’t love to be held or carried around. He likes car rides and strollers and he loves to be kissed, scratched and loved. We want the very best forever home for Pumpkin.

Sedona - Adopted! Dreams come true. In the darkest of times, miracles can still happen. Sedona (now Jack) is living proof that beauty is possible. Jack will have a beautiful life with beautiful humans and beautiful critter siblings in a beautiful rural setting in Oregon. The wait was long but the reward was huge for this “beautiful” little trooper. * * * We call him Sid, for short. Sedona is the largest of his litter of three. At 6.5 pounds, he is the beast of the litter but he uses his size for love. (mostly) He provides a warm cushy place for his siblings to nap after wrestling sessions. He's trying to learn how to be gentle with the smallest of the three but he's a work in progress. Sedona's wrinkly head makes him super expressive. He's nailed the "sad puppy eyes" look and we all fall for it. He will gaze his way into your heart. We think these pups are around 2 months old and we have no information on their parents but we guess Sid and his siblings will grow to be around 15 pounds. They have the sweetest personalities; they love laps. They also love to wrestle and play with very big ferocious growls. They came from a homeless camp in Chowchilla. We're happy to have the opportunity to give these babies the lives they deserve.
Saturn - Adopted! Saturn got a new name and a new home in one day! He now goes by “Gator”, because of his famous teeth. His new dads are brave but they knnow he is worth it. We can’t wait for updates on our little trooper gator! *** *** There’s only one Saturn in the universe. This adorably funny looking pug mix, has the hair of a terrier, the legs of a gazelle and the face of an old man. His siblings look like pug mixes but he got the extra hair, the eyebrows, the long lean body and the personality of totally different litter! He’s so cool looking and unique. He’s almost 10 pounds at around 4 months so we think he’ll be about 15 to 20 pounds full grown. You must see him to believe how cute he is.

Sand - Adopted! Fate saved the day for little Sand. His new dad kissed him so many times between the shelter and his truck on the way out. He finally has a family to adore him. Sand had many adoption appointments, but his shy nature flew him under the radar. He was overlooked every time and we didn’t understand how anyone could resist his wrinkly lips and gorgeous green eyes. But THIS was meant to be. Sand is completely adored and we are completely thrilled. * * * AKA Baby Hippo, Sand is the smallest of his litter of three. At 4.5 pounds, he holds his own because of his lower center of gravity. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in charm. His stubby little legs, toad-like figure, wrinkly lips and ice blue eyes make him irresistible. Sand will waddle his way into your heart. We think these pups are around 2 months old and we have no information on their parents but we guess Sand and his siblings will grow to be around 15 pounds. They have the sweetest personalities, they love laps. They also love to wrestle and play with very big ferocious growls. Sand and his siblings came from a homeless camp in Chowchilla. We're happy to have the opportunity to give these babies the lives they deserve.

Jupiter - Adopted! Jupiter and Neptune found a home together right here on planet earth! They have four humans all to themselves! We’re so happy for these adorable little nuggets! *** *** He's out of this world! Jupiter is 8 pounds of squishy sweet love. He’s around 4 months so we figure he’ll be about 15 pounds full grown. Although he looks like a tiny black lab, he’s a pug chihuahua mix. He’s pretty laid back for a puppy and he loves to snuggle on laps. He gets along well with all dogs and humans! If you would like to adopt Jupiter, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .

Neptune - Adopted! Neptune AND Jupiter found a home together right here on planet earth! They have four humans all to themselves! We’re so happy for these adorable little nuggets! *** *** This little boy is a 9 pound, 4 month old pug chihuahua mix, and he's got a lot of love to give. Neptune is pretty chill and loves to sit on laps. Although he looks like a toy black lab, we think he’ll be around 15/20 pounds full grown. He gets along well with other dogs and all humans. He’s even cuter in person. If you would like to adopt Neptune, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .
Phoenix - Adopted! Phoenix has a family! We imagine she’s getting to know her new doggy sibling and her parent’s home and of course the exciting backyard! We adore her new humans and we can’t wait for updates on this gorgeous little puppy girl. * * * "Nix" is the biggest and only sister to Sand and Sid (short for Sedona). She's tall and lean, built for adventure and love. At 5.5 pounds, she's in between her brothers in size. We think these pups are around 2 months old and we have no information on their parents but we guess Nix and bros will grow to be around 15 pounds. They have the sweetest personalities; they love laps. They also love to wrestle and play with very big ferocious growls. Nix and her brothers came from a homeless camp in Chowchilla. We're happy to have the opportunity to give these babies the lives they deserve. If you would like to adopt Phoenix, please first review our " Before You Adopt " page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found here .
