These dogs have found their forever home after having been rescued by Little Trooper Ranch.

Everest - Adopted! Everest is now Harley and he’s staying with us in our extended LTR family! His foster mom fell hard for this little man and we can see why. He is perfect and they were meant to be together, as you can see by their matching outfits. Big thank you to Nancy for her continued support for all of the troopers and for giving Harley a loving forever home. We are thrilled! * * * * * * He hails from the streets of Porterville and he’s got the scars to prove it. Physical scars that is, emotionally Everest is fine. He’s around 8 years old and we plan to make the next 8 years much better for this deserving little trooper. At just 7 pounds, we’re not sure how Everest survived on the streets but our only concern is the future for this sweet little guy. He gets along well with most dogs and loves humans. He’s a bit shy but he warms up in minutes. He’s has the most beautiful markings. You’ll never see another dog quite like this one!

CherBear - Adopted! Again! Most of our adoption stories are beautiful, but this one is a little bit extra. Cher Bear went to live with a dear friend of ours, and when she could no longer care for her, Bear went to common friends, other dear friends, of Little Trooper Ranch. This seamless move from one loving home to another was more than we could’ve asked for. This deserving little dog will spend the rest of her days in the most amazing home possible. We are grateful for her new parents and for her first amazing mama.

Jefé - Adopted! Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day at Little Trooper Ranch. Jefe’s dreams have come true. He finally has his very own Forever home. We could not be happier and we could not think of a better way to celebrate love, than to find another amazing home for one of our precious little troopers. We love you Jefe! * * * He's a volunteer favorite! Jefé was scared and misunderstood at the shelter but they knew he would be okay once he got out - and they were right. This 2 year old sweetheart seems to have had a tough life but that has changed. He’s only 7 pounds and he has so much love to give. We’re not sure how he got the deep wound on his head but it’s healing quickly, along with his heart. We can see him realizing the beauty of life and he’s super excited to meet the human loves of his life. Jefé loves to cuddle and he’s starting to show interest in playing now, too! If you can give this special little dude the life he deserves, apply now!

Bee

February 12, 2026
Bee - Adopted! Bee is home! She’s been in a loving foster home for quite some time but her forever home swooped in, opening up a foster home for another lucky little trooper. We love you Bee! * * * This sweet girl has had a tough go of it so far in life but you would never know. Bee lived in a chaotic environment for most of her young life.(we think she’s 3-5 years old). Her very favorite thing is to ride in the car and her other favorite thing is to sleep under the sheets with her human. Bee is only 8 pounds but she’s quite alpha. She would do well as an only dog but we’re certain she can adjust to life with another K9 family member. Her LTR foster home has many dogs and she gets along well with almost all of them (except one!). She doesn’t fight but she likes to let them know she’s in charge. Either that or she has a crush on this one particular boy and doesn’t know how to show it. There will likely be an adjustment period with any new dogs. Or she can be the one and only love of someone’s life. This little girl is sweet as can 🐝!

Jules - Adopted! Jules is finally home. Well, it’s actually up to the cat, but so far so good. She loves her new dad and the feeling is mutual so fingers crossed crossed the cat is also onboard! We love you Jules! * * * Our adorable Jules is again looking for her forever person. She loves warm laps, snuggling in bed and adventure. She’s perfect. Jules is 100% housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She knows how to sit and stay and she lives to please. She’s generally fine with other dogs and cats but would probably best thrive in a home as an only dog where she can be loved "exclusively". At just 7 pounds and four years of age, she’s the easiest dog you could possibly adopt. She deserves a loving committed home of her very own. And oh yes, did we mention that she's perfect?

Jellybean - Adopted! We have another “lifer” Trooper! Our very own Kathleen Daly fostered Jellybean; she was doomed from the start. Few can resist Jellybean’s charm and good looks , plus she’s one of our best - behaved troopers. We’re so happy she’s joining Kathleen’s loving little pack of troopers and fluffers. We’ll see you soon Jellybean! * * * Our little Jellybean is pretty much perfect. She's quiet, loves to cuddle, and gets along well with most dogs. She's just 9 pounds, is fully housebroken, and wants some humans of her very own to love. She deserves to be treasured. She deserves to sleep in bed with her people, and most of all, she is worthy of a forever home. Jellybean's delicate little face and giant ears will charm you in an instant, and then she will quietly and gently ask for your affection. She's so polite, it's adorable. We think she's around 2 years old.

Cola - Adopted! She was with us for nine months. This comical, athletic, curious little dog kept us all entertained during her extended stay at Little Trooper Ranch. We all love her so much. She has the most gorgeous coat of all the troopers and her spirit is every bit as beautiful. Luckily and unexpectedly, the perfect home showed up for Cola. We can’t wait to hear all about her new adventures in her new home. We love you, Cola. * * * We've named her Cola (short for Charcola), and she is currently the most entertaining dog at LTR. Cola loves to play, and takes her role as adopted mama to 5 younger puppies very seriously. She also helps with the farm chores, which we love. Cola's floppy ears bouncing around in the grass are the cutest things. It’s a miracle she’s here with us. First she was given away on Craig’s List and then kept for 4 months in a safe but isolated place where she didn’t even have a name. Cola is nervous around new people but we’re working on this and she’s improving daily. She loves our volunteers and frequent visitors and we love her back. At approximately 6 months, Cola weighs 9 pounds, so we guess she will be around 14 pounds full-grown. She’s gorgeous, intelligent and tons of fun.

Coco Nbr2 - Adopted! After a long-term stay at Little Trooper Ranch, Coco decided to remain in the extended LTR family. She also decided to move to the city! Coco has her forever home with one of our board members and is warming up to city living. This little girl went from never seeing the light of day in a hoarding situation to many walks per day and dinners out with a loving mom in San Francisco. We are so happy for Coco and her new mom. * * * This royal little girl is elegant, sweet and easy to love. She gets along well with humans and dogs; not sure about cats but she’s eager to please and eager to learn. This tall statuesque 6 pound angel is definitely part Egyptian princess. She could pass for a mini greyhound or a runway model but she only wants love and a forever home, worthy of a princess. Coco Nbr 2 is only 3 years old so you must be ready for a longterm commitment and a forever friend.

Sugar - Adopted! Sugar has a new dad and a big extended family! She will be the center of their world, as it should be! We miss her already but we are thrilled for this bundle of joy. * * * You would never know Sugar had a rough start in life. She is the happiest dog, with energy for days. At just 8-months old and barely 5 pounds, she ended up at the Martinez shelter where they did surgery to remove stones from her bladder. They also spayed and vaccinated her so she is ready for her forever home and we will know more about the types of stones that were in her bladder soon. Sugar loves everybody; all humans and all dogs (as far as we can tell). She has a ton of energy and loves to play but she can also entertain herself for hours with toys. Sugar's name is perfect because she’s so very sweet. We think she’s probably a purebred Pom, so she will be very small when she’s full-grown.

Marigold / Puddles Marigold’s adorable little paws barely touched ground here at LTR, when she was swept up by our very own board VP. Marigold, (now Puddles), arrived the day before our volunteer appreciation party. She flew in and 24 hours later, she was in her forever home. We’re so happy this unique little dog is staying in the family! We all love you Puddles!
