Gus - Adopted!

Gus is the sweetest little golden bundle of teddy bear preciousness, with just a smidge of honey badger. He's golden in years with a sad cauliflower ear from a lifetime of chronic infections and scratching. His hearing, eyesight, and mind are starting to fade, but his attitude and heart are strong. You can imagine our excitement that he will spend the rest of his days with one of our most wonderful former adopters and two older little troopers. He could not have landed in a more perfect home.

We believe Gus is a toy golden retriever, if there is such a creature. He’s precious beyond belief but he has some special "features", like not knowing where he is most of the time. He also barks when he doesn’t know where his human is.

If you’re looking for a sweet soft elderly little dog to love, protect and snuggle, look no further. We’re not sure what happened to this innocent being but he was found on the streets near a homeless encampment with a terrible ear infection, rotting teeth, and layers of flea dirt, so we figure he’s had a rough life.
