Taquito
Taquito
Our boy hails from the streets of Mexico by way of Compassion Without Borders. Taquito has been with us for almost a year and was meant to be a full-time resident with our president until we realized he does not like other male dogs.
Taquito needs a quiet, warm, loving home with no other dogs or with a submissive female only. No male dogs, no exceptions. Taquito can be grumpy with them, but he has no teeth and cannot defend himself. Plus, he's a senior and he's barely 6 pounds. He has the softest paws we've ever felt and he's an absolute lovebug with people. We think he's around 12 years old but he has a lot of life and love left to share.
He loves to sleep in bed with his human and he loves to sleep all day with breaks to suntan and relax outside. His favorite part of the day is when he gets into bed at night with his human. He loves to snuggle and bury himself under the sheets. Taquito deserves to be the apple of someone's eye and the best part of their day. He's housetrained so long as he's taken outside frequently and he never barks. He's a wonderful little guy and we hate to part with him but his safety comes first.
If you would like to adopt Taquito, please first review our "Before You Adopt" page and then complete the Adoption Application which can be found
